The Mood is in the Air
Some days into fall and the seasonal shift leans into something else: The will to write. Cormac McCarthy knew what I’m talking about and it’s lucky for me that he put it into words. Everyone who is in this scheme to smith words into meaning has a touch stone, some kind of muse, or, if all else fails, some good guidelines to reset and bail us out of the stagnation of the lazy summer days.
Indolence aside, lack of faith aside, melancholy, mostly behind, I’m look toward the kind of words that will help me land some ink on the page.
